Adding extra days to a Park Hopper

We are Headed to DL at the end of April and I had a question on adding extra days to a Park Hopper. My ILs are going to join us and they went ahead and bought 3 day park hopper tickets with the So Cal Resident discount (they live there). We are planning on 4 days, can my ILs pay the difference between the 3 and 4 day hopper ($25) if they want to extend their tickets? Or since they are already discounted would they not be able to? Thanks!

The is no 4th day on the So Cal ticket offer. DLR doesn't do bridging, so they'd be upgrading to a regular 4 day PH.

I thought I'd point out that a So Cal Select AP is $1 less than a 4 day hopper. If they do consider paying the difference, they should consider the APs so long as your 4th day isn't a blockout day.
