Adding dining to DVC rental?

Not sure the proper board to post this question, but we're renting DVC points through David's DVC rentals. Still debating about adding dining, and I do know you have to do it 30 days before check in.

Do you know if payment can be made with Disney Gift Card or is it only CC?

You'll have to check with David's, but I think they prefer a credit card.

If you go that route, either get a pre-paid credit card that you can register or ask your credit card company for a virtual credit card number to use once.

You can use Disney gift cards. I felt more comfortable with that than giving out my credit card number. I would combine gift cards to larger amounts, and then you give David’s the number(s). They will then give that info to the owner who will in turn call Disney and have the dining plan added. I just did this a few months ago no problem

It says you can use a gift card in the email they sent about adding! I’m thinking we will get it too. I looked at what I thought we’d eat and I’m getting $320 before snacks, and the DDP would be $326 I think.
