Adding DDP at check-in

Can I add the dining plan at check-in? We are going very soon and won't be able to pre-pay the dining plan now. We would however like to get the plan added at check-in. Is this possible?

Not possible. I believe 3 days before is the latest. Hopefully you can free up cash or "space" to pay for it. We really enjoyed having the plan last year.

I had the same problem last year. I called Disney and was told that you have to call at least 3 days before the start of your trip to add the dining plan! Hope that helps!

Wait. Wouldn't there be a penalty for making changes to a ressie that is less than 45 days from the first date of travel?

What do you mean you can only pay for it at check-in? If you add the DDP with less than 45 days remaining, you must pay for the DDP at check-in because your vacation package must be paid-in-full at the 45 day out mark? Oh, okay. I get it. Right?
