Last year, we took our kids to WDW for 3 days. I had read you can save money by purchasing 4day no expiration ticket, leaving one day left over, so that we could "add on" for next trip. We are now thinking of going this year. How do I "add on" and how much will it really save? I guess I should have paid more attention the first time I read it. TIA

That does not work.

Once any ticket has gone more than 14 days from the first time it is used it cannot be upgraded or modified in any way, even if the No Expire option has been purchased.

If I press the "upgrade" button on my terminal keyboard and then swipe the ticket through the reader it will return a "not upgradeable" message.
