Adding Days to a Discounted Ticket

I can purchase a 5-day park hopper ticket at a discount from work for $323 + tax (regular price $387).

The question is can I add on two days when I get to WDW? And, if so, what would the increase in price be? The difference in price from a 5-day to 7-day at the parks is about $20. Is that all I'd pay or would Disney know that I paid a discount for the tickets?

Use the tickets first, then when you go to add the extra days, it's just the extra $10/day.

Agreed.

Just to be clear, about what Indio is saying...
You only need to use the ticket(s) to go into a theme park one time before you do the upgrade.

You don't want to use up the entire ticket before upgrading.

Thanks. Now I just need to debate whether it's worth it with this whole Fastpass+ stuff only being able to book five days worth of FastPasses as opposed to seven...(just another reason I'm having a tough time loving this new system).

I'm assuming these discounted tickets will have a code on them that I can input into the FastPass system since I'm not directly buying from Disney? I feel like I read that it isn't an issue in my recent research on FastPass+, but I'm double checking. (Ugh...I feel like such a newbie having to ask all these questions despite having been to WDW nearly 30 times.)

Thanks.

1. Yes.

2. Correct

3. You are FAR from alone in that respect.

4. Remember that as soon as you upgrade the tickets at WDW, you will, right then, be able
to book FP+ for the added days at the end of your trip.
