Adding days to 25th Anniversary Park Tickets

Has anyone tried to add on a day to the special 25th anniversary Park Hopper + water park fun tickets once they got to WDW?

No but I think you only get the credit of the price you paid ;(

I think @ravenclawtrekkie was going to verify. My expectation is the same as above; you'll get the price you paid applied towards a new ticket.
