Adding day to ticket. FP+ for Soarin or TSMM now?

We have decided to add another day to our ticket. However, I've read here that we will get a better rate if we wait until we start using our ticket. (We got a buy 4 day get the 5th day free, and we want to add a 6th day.) MDE will not let me book a 6th day of fastpasses right now. I have to choose between booking my Epcot day now or my HS day now. Do you think either Soarin' or TSMM will run out of fastpasses if I don't book ahead of time? Or run out of "good" times? Which one would you book now? Since we have short/young kids, and because of the options with the tiering, I'm not really interested in the other fastpasses at either place.
 
I added a day also, went from 6 days to 7 days, I also have the buy 6 days yet the 7th free and I have hoppers. When I called to add the day, I actually got a cheaper rate than I had! I added 1 day to our hoppers and saved $130! Give them a call and find out how much it is, then you can go ahead and do your fastpasses too!:thumbsup2

Which number did you call? I am in the same boat as OP- I bought 7 day passes with the intention of doing 2 days at Universal- well, combine the latest price increase with the fact Diagon Alley isn't open when we go- we decided to add 2 days to our WDW passes. Now I can't book 2 days of fast passes.

I was able to book fast passes for my parents who are coming for a long weekend on my MDE account, so I am assuming when I can book my 2 additional days I can just 'copy' my parent's Fast Passes to our tickets?
 

I booked a package with WDW, room and tickets. The one free day offer expired 3/31. I called guest services 407-939-6244, the number on my reservation. When I called I just asked the CM how much it would be to add a day to my park hoppers and she said she was going to try it a few different ways, I have no idea what that means, and came back with a price lower than my original (for the whole package) with the extra day (just an extra ticket day, not hotel)! Today is day 45, so it's paid in full!
 
I will add, while the offer for the extra ticket day free expired on 3/31, I added the extra day on 4/9. So they honored the offer I had already. HTH!
