adding day to Disneyland Park Hopper?

i bought about 6 months ago (pre price increase) 2 Adults and 1 child park hopper ticket for 2 days. $658 total.
now we want to add a 3rd day. I know i can upgrade or add a day, but how much will they charge me.

current park hopper 3 day for 2A1C is $873. Current 2 day park hopper 2A1C is $693...

will they charge me the current difference of $180? or the difference what i paid to new price? $215?

It's supposed to be the difference between what you paid and the new price. When you go to the booth you can see what upgrade price they give you, and if it's the higher price, ask for an exception. 3 day tickets purchased at the booth don't get MM, so I don't think you'll get an MM by upgrading there.
