I thought I had read a post on the resorts board of someone at VWL adding concierge service to their 2 bedroom. does anyone know if this is possible? thanks.
I know at Beach Club Villas you can add turn down service for $10 a day. They will naturally turn down your bed and change your towels. I am not sure about the rest of the concierge service though. I would be curious as well.
I know some people will think I'm crazt but I think DVC could make a lot of money by offering some type of concierge service or members lounge-something along those lines.
You can use it if you pay for it. You can't use it if you don't. I think they could work it so dues would not have anything to do with it. Just a perk if you were willing to pay for it.
Concierge levels at the resorts and the space of the villas are both very popular. Why not find a way to combine them.
I think someone posted a while back that they took a DVC survey and a concierge related question was in the mix.
Food!!! Tons and tons of food, as well as beer, wine, and cordials. That was the most noticable benefit when we stayed at the Poly concierge last January. Of course if you ate everytime they put food out you would never be hungry for dinner, and dinner is one of our favorite things at WDW.
Concierge service would be tough to have at OKW. I hate to say this but judging from the responses on this site from members regarding any subject this place sounds like a budget board. I don't think enough people would be willing to pay a $100 a day or more for this service. Along with snacks, a concierge will make all your dinner reservations and show reservations for you, but I just can not see enough interest judging from what I read here on this board. It could work at other DVC sites but not OKW. OKW is too spread out for this service.
I think it would be a great service to have available if you wanted it. I think there are quite a few things Disney could offer to DVC members and make money better DVC items in gift shop, meal plan add on. I didn't know about the turn down service-is it available anywhere else?
