Adding another username

I am registered already but my son would like to post to the teen board. For some reason he doesn't want to post under my username. (Can't imagine why!)

Since we have the same email address, can he also register or is only one username allowed per address? BTW he will be using a different computer (we are a multi-Macintosh family) but the same isp and email address as me.

From one multi-Mac family to another... Wooo Hooo & nice to meet ya'!

To keep it simple I'd suggest signing up for another email account... a free one like a Netscape account. (Thats what I did for my daughter) It works fine for us, even with 3 users on at the same time.

Just give a yell if you need any more help!

My son has another account (kind of like yahoo email) but not his own isp email. At one time, we had 2 different isps and also 2 phone lines so no one in the family had to wait for anyone else to get online. (We live out in the country and so we can't get DSL or cable.) But right now, we just have one isp.

Yep, we are Mac people (since 1985). We have 4 Macs at home (all given to him for being an Apple Distinguished Educator.) We are just as obsessed about Macs as we are about Disney.

Just use a different, valid, email address (it doesn't have to be an ISP address) and let him register!

My son registered and got the email telling him to confirm his request. (Which we did.) Then he got a message saying he would be approved by the moderators. That was 4 hours ago and so far, he hasn't been approved yet and can't post. I thought I was approved within just a few minutes.

How long does approval take?
