Adding an extra day

I wanted to add a day at the beginning of our YC stay. We have booked the dining plan for this stay. I was told that I have to get the dining plan for the added day and I did not want to do that so I booked Pop Century for the first night. Does anyone know if it is possible to add a day without the dp? Thanks for your expert knowledge.

I think you can't add a night to the existing reservation without dp (if you have it for the rest of the trip). But you can book a room only reservation for one night. You should be able to do that at YC if there's availability and possibly stay in the same room. I did that at POR last year.
