adding an extra day to our pass

Can anyone tell me if we want to add an extra day to our 5 day pass, can we do this, and when should we do it ( when using our first day or wait until the 5th day)

Hi there,

Yes you can upgrade at any time before your pass expires. It doesn't matter when you do it, so whatever is more convenient to your family.

I believe that you pay the difference between the two tickets.. We were there a couple of weeks ago and upgraded my mom's single day PH to a 2-day PH ticket and paid the difference in price. We didn't even have to go to a ticket booth. A CM in Guest services inside the park handled it for me...

It can save you some money if you do it ahead of time, because you'll pay the difference between what it cost for your hopper and what the price is when you switch. Gate prices are usually higher than prepurchase rates so if you wait until you're there, you'll pay more. We upgraded ours before we left and it saved us quite a bit over waiting, plus we didn't have to bother with it while at the park. Ours was easy, though, because we didn't have the tickets yet and were able to change through AAA before they were sent out to us.

I believe we purchased convention tickets (it was through gay days website). Does anyone know if we can add on to those tickets? If so, how would we go about doing it? Thank you
