Adding an Avatar

When I go to create a thread, a not pops up requesting that a avatar be added to my profile.

How is this done? I went to my profile page but see no place to add an avatar?

You can't add an avatar until you have at least 10 posts here on DISboards. Once you do, hover over your username in the upper right and click on "Avatar"
