So my family booked a free dining package for our upcoming trip, and we decided not to put me on the reservation initially because I have an AP, and we didn't want to buy a ticket unnecessarily. We had read that we would be able to add an adult at check-in and just pay the extra-adult fee, but I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with adding someone for room-only at check in? I'm just a little paranoid about making sure that I will be able to get into the parks for EMH especially. Thanks in advance!

We have done it a couple times. It isn't a problem. As long as they add you at check in so that you are listed on the reservation, you won't have any problem with EMH. :)
