For our upcoming September trip, my BIL decided that he would like to come with us and we just added him to our reservation. Originally, it was DH, DD4 and me. I was able to add a 4th person to all my ADRs except for the Garden View Tea Lounge.

I am going to keep trying to add a 4th, but in the event that I can't, would I be able to just add him when we get there? My assumption is that the table they have for us 3 will already be a table for 4 as you don't usually see tables for 3, but I could be wrong. What do you think?

Hello and welcome to the boards.

It is always best to try and get an extra person added to the adr.

In the event you can't, you can always show up with that person but be prepared for him to be turned away.

Reason is Disney follows very strict fire codes. So even if you are a party of 3 sitting at a 4 top table, if the restaurant is at capacity they can't add the extra party.

It is hard to say whether he will get in. Some factors go into it:
What time of year you are going?
Is it free dining time"
Is it a popular restaurant?
Things like that.

So your best way is to add him ahead of time. It that doesn't work out you can try to show up, just have him set up to be turned away. Have him another adr close so you can meet back up with him, or at least a CS for him to go to.

Good luck and have a great trip!
