How do you put your own picture as your avatar-or am i opening up a whole new can of worms .x.

You two are funny

OK for your own avatar, click the edit avatar button, right at the bottom of the page click the use custom avatar button, I then use option 2, click the browse button and it should bring up your photos, click on the photo you want (you may need to resize it) and voila it's there

twice it came up-upload of file failed-what does that mean?.x.

Did it say it was too big??? If so you need to resize it you can do this in photobucket then save the picture to your PC again to use!

BTW I'm so not cut out to be a teacher I'm sure my instructions are sounding much more complicated than they are

No it never said that,i done what you said,it then brought up my box of piccies,i chose one clicked upload+it transferred it to that box on the avatar page,i then clicked save changes,it took a while and the said upload of file failed.x.

Nope,nada,nothing like that,just took a while,went to another page(still dis boards page)and said that message about failed .Sorry Jo .x.

No it never said that,i done what you said,it then brought up my box of piccies,i chose one clicked upload+it transferred it to that box on the avatar page,i then clicked save changes,it took a while and the said upload of file failed.x.

Thats what happened with mine a couple of times, but then it was there dont know how
