Adding a person?

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm relatively new to the DVC world. We've got a 1BR at SSR for a quick trip next month for just the two of us (all the studios were gone because we didn't book until mid-August).

A friend of ours may be able to swing some vacation days to join us. Is that a problem? I mean, we would still under the occupancy limit, but he's not actually listed on our reservation. Could we call and have him added?

Yep!! Just call member services and add him... if you are doing the dining plan he will have to be added for the entire trip..

You can also add him at the resort itself, we had to do that this year. My partner, his sister, nephew and friend went to Disney Sunday through Friday, then I flew down with his sister's husband on Friday when his friend flew back home. They couldn't add us all to the reservation because of occupancy limits, but he was able to subtract and add right at the resort (this was actually recommended by DVC too). We didn't have the dining plan though, which can throw a wrench into last minute type plans.

That's sorta what I figured. Thanks for the quick responses. He and his aunt were down in August, but I guess the crowds and the heat were awful. I think he'd like to come back down when it's a little calmer (relatively speaking, of course).

Plus, one of the joys of my life is to get him on to Everest, where he spent the entire ride screeching like a little girl and yelling "we're all gonna die!!" I could NOT stop laughing.
