Adding a Park Day onto Tickets

I am checking in tomorrow to Kidani Village.

I have a 5 day magic your way park hopper ticket. We are a party of 5 but two of us are staying an additional day and we need to make our tickets 6 day park hoppers. Can I do this at check in at Kidani tomorrow.

Or do I have to go to a park and do this? (Going to Epcot tomorrow)

Can you do it at the ticket window or do you have to use the ticket first and then upgrade at guest relations??

Once the day is added will it automatically update on MDE and then I can make fastpass plus choices for the 6th day?

if you purchased through an authorized seller like mapleleaftickets or undercovertourist, this is the way to go. they should bridge the price to save you a few dollars.

if you bought from disney directly, i would check with the resort but don't know for sure.

Do you have advance FP+ reservations for all 5 days of your current ticket?

If so, do not use the ticket to enter a park before upgrading.
Just go to the Resort Concierge Desk and add the day to the ticket.
You will THEN be able to add the 6th day of FP+ to your MDE account.

Yes we did all our advance FP reservations so far. We are a party of 5 but 3 of the party is leaving on Sunday and 2 of us are staying and we need an additional day.

Does it matter that not everyone in the party is not adding an additional day.

We are then a room only reservation at the yacht club for a party of 2 nov 9th departing on the 11th. we just need an additional ticekt for nov 10th

Nope. Doesn't affect the upgrade situation one way or the other.
