Adding a night at Beach Club

We originally booked a reservation for Nov 14-18 at The Beach Club through British Airways. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to add an extra night to the beginning of our trip :cheer2: Unfortunately, I could not modify my original reservation so I just booked an extra night (Nov 13) with the same exact view directly through the Disney website. I now have 2 hotel confirmation numbers, but I would really like to stay in the same room for the entire duration of my trip. Does anyone know if it's possible to request this? If so, should I wait until I get down there to talk to the front desk about it? Or would it be wise to contact them ahead of time? I've already noted it on my Touring Plans room request form, but I'm not sure if they will actually read that or not.

Are both reservations for the same room type, meaning both standard rooms or both garden view etc? Your chances of staying in the same room are much greater if they are. I don’t know how things work with British Airways, do they have a customer service you can speak to? If they do, ask them to contact Disney & note your reservations as “continuing” reservations. They should also be able to put in a request for you to stay in the same room. You will probably not be able to do that yourself until you arrive. When you get to your resort, stop at the check in desk & discuss it with them. If the rooms are both the same category, you have a very good chance of staying in the same room, even if they need to make an adjustment right then. They don’t want to put you in a room for 1 night, move to a clean room & need housekeeping to clean your first room for a new guest. Sometimes you do need to move, but it makes much less work for them to keep you in the same room if possible too.

Thanks! I will call BA and ask them to note it as a continuing reservation. And yes it's for the same room type (Garden/woods view for both reservations)

We rented points last trip but had to add an extra night due to airline shenanigans, our members requested that we stay in the same room and ended up being no problem. Same room type for both reservations.

We didn’t request anything else as we wanted to prioritize not moving, don’t know if that made a difference.

Note it wherever you can - with BA, our the reservation you made on your own, on your TP request. When you arrive for your first stay, stop at the front desk and personally request to stay in the same room. They may be able to give you an answer right then and there or they may ask you to check back in with them early in the morning (your check-out/check-in day). They will do their best to accommodate you.

You might also want to check-in in person, and enquire about your request not being moved. There is of course no guarantee they will be able to do it, but if they have availability, they will do their best.
