I'm trying to figure out which option would be best . I usually go down on my mothers points, and she has refused to let me pay for any points. I 'm tired of mooching, besides if I have some of my own points I can invite "outsiders"

My sister has 200 pts at SSR and she is more receptive to helping me out. She is interested in adding maybe 50- 100 points and I would never need more than that myself. So here are my questions.

1 - can we add my name to my sisters contract(deed)? Is it hard to do and expensive? Then add points

2 - Are we better off to buy a new contract in my name and hers for 160 somehwhere and in effect each get 80 pts?

3 - Should I just pay her to add points on to her contract and put me down as an associate ( so I can book) and forget about getting my name on a deed.

Any info or suggestions are appreciated.

If it were me, I would take the easiest, cheapest method.

I guess that means I would just keep mooching... :teeth:

To "add" a name to a contract, it has to be re-re-corded with the county. There can not be a existing loan against the contract, and you must get a ROFR waiver from DVC.

There are a couple other options.

1) Purchase a new 160 point or larger contract from DVC.
2) Purchase a small contract resale.
