Adding a day to online reservation?

Does anyone know how hard it is to add a day to a reservation that was made online? I checked and there's still availability. I don't know if I can just call and they can do it over the phone? Or if I'm going to have to make a seperate reservation for just the one night? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I might be wrong, but I would think since you made the ressie through Disney you would just be able to call and add the day. It couldn't hurt to call and find out anyway. The worse that would happen is they say you can't modify it, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. THT

I booked a trip online last year and just called the reservations number when I needed to make changes... I added a day and switched resorts and they did it all for me. Even kept the same confirmation/reservation number.

I had a dining package, and needed to add another night, just to accommodate my airline reservation. They added a room-only night so I didn't have to pay for another day of parks and meals when I was leaving first thing in the a.m.

They will work hard to accommodate you!

Give them a call they can add a day if they have space but I would do it soon as you know. I was told better to have more days than to wait to add days. And if you don't need that many have to take them off. I am going down this coming May was going to do only 4 nights at the AKL & I brought the air since it was cheap then good ole husband who is in Kenya email asking me to add a day at begining or end. So I called they could add it to end only which made my air go up sky high with price increase & change fees. The CM said to leave it to see if air came down any or if the day at the begining of trip came avai which I would only had to pay changing fees. As soon as I saw it on the Disney web site that they had the 12th there I call & change it

I'm sorry I didn't get to respond until now, but thank you all so much for the replies! I've been out all day so I wasn't able to call, but I'll be calling first thing in the morning. We need/have a handicapped room so I'm hoping they can see if the same room they have us already blocked for is available for one more night. We don't really want to add on another day if we're going to have to change resorts/rooms because it's just too hard with everything. Hopefully things will work out!
