Adding a day to multi-day hopper advance tickets?

Can you add a day to a multi-day park hopper ticket after you bought it? Do you have to do this inside Disneyland or at the Gate? I'm hoping to avoid standing in a long line or a big fee just to add a day to the ticket. An extra day should be a fun thing but I hope it isn't a big hassle to do.

The cost could end up bringing the total cost up to the ticket booth cost, rather than whatever discounted rate you could have gotten.

I figure you could do it at Guest Relations, and you could probably do it at any time during your trip.

Of course you can't take it over 6 days total, as DLR doesn't have more than that many days on a ticket, for those in the US and/or buying inside the US (they have special tickets for Canadians, Australians, etc).

Yes you can add days but you will lose your discount if you got one when you bought your park hoppers originally. And as Molly indicated above, you cannot add more days then what they currently offer, so if you have a 6 day hopper you can't get a 7th day added. You can do this addition at the ticket booths or guest services.
