Adding a day to Magic Your Way

I was wondering if I can add another day to my 5 day magic your way ticket(not a park hopper). I would like to surprise my wife and take her to Epcot while my 18 yr old daughter watches my son. I don't want to spend money on a full day park ticket for the evening hours. Is there a deal to add a day if it's even possible? Thanks

Yes.

The answer is yes...as long as you're not trying to use the additional day to "hop"...in other words, as long as EPCOT is the only park you're going to that day. If you've gone to another park that day, you'd have to add the hopper to your ticket.

No. You will have to wait until you add the day.

we added one day to our 5 day trip in April and expected it to be cheap like that, but it ended up around $70/ticket (no hopper). This was while we were there on our last day at the ticket office in Liberty Square. Does that sound right or was I overcharged?

You were definitely overcharged. It should have been the difference between a 5-day and 6-day base ticket, which is currently $21.30.

the only thing I can think of is our hotel and ticket package (from Disney) had the 4 days + 5th day free deal. I guess I'll look into it further. Thank you.

Even if they were only crediting you for the value of a 4-day ticket, the difference between a 4-day and 6-day base ticket is only $42.60.
