Adding a day to a Priceline reservation once it is started

Has anyone ever added a day to an Alamo reservation made through Autoslash (which comes across as a Priceline reservation) once it has already started?

If my Autoslash/Priceline reservation with Alamo ends on 4/5 and I decide to stay until 4/6 can I call Alamo and add a day to the reservation?

That's what I was thinking. They may consider the change a new reservation and charge full price. I would call Alamo and ask. I doubt they will give you the extra day at the same price.

Unless the OP is extremely lucky, as far as I understand corporate policy, they will use the situation to charge full-rack rate.

I could be wrong, Karma is a fickle beast.....but....

I think what others have said is probably correct and you could end up paying a big upcharge.
You may be better off checking out the price of a one day rental for the extra day. Return the original as planned and take the second rental for the extra day.
At the very least, this will give you an idea as to what the price should/could be when you call Alamo to see about adding the extra day to your existing rental

Look at your actual rental contract, extra days or extra hours are often listed there for your particular rental code and vehicle.
