Adding a day price

Planning on buying the buy 2 day get 3rd free for our trip in May. We were really thinking about 4 days. If we decide we want that 4th day and add it on will the price be the difference between what a 3rd day costs and what a 4th day costs?

Also can you only upgrade tickets purchased directly through Universal?

if you want a 4 day PtP ticket, go with the power pass.


if you do buy the 2day with 3rd day free, not sure if you can add on a 4th day.

Most Universal tickets can be upgraded no problem. Some of the exceptions are the 3 park pass and Orlando flex tickets that include Wet and Wild and SeaWorld. Also complementary and deep deep discount tickets like USSSA and when tickets have shown up on MyCokeRewards etc. . Third party tickets can be upgraded just fine.

As far as the price of the upgrade, I'm not sure we've heard any reports yet on the 2 day plus the 3rd free. Universal's upgrade policy has been getting more lenient with the opening of Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express. If you wanted to play it safe, they cost a couple of dollars more but the 2 day plus an extra day without an expiration on Undercover Tourist most people say are normal 3 day tickets and should be upgraded as such.

I also agree with Macraven if you're looking at getting 4 day tickets you might want to price the upgrade to power passes it could be the same or even a couple of dollars cheaper.
