Definitely stick with plan A - if my hubby had booked me at Tenaya then changed our plans I would be livid if I ever found out, LOL. One of the best spa experiences I’ve had, especially if she is getting a full service (massage) as there is a “pre show” of sorts and she also can choose to have Disney instrumental music as her music!?!. 
Also the 2nd is the first day the top 2 MK can come back after a 2 week blockout. Let’s just say the block out has not been popular, at all. It’s also a day off work for most, and the last day off before many local districts go back to school. I try and avoid those “first or last days” if I can. The rest of your week should be great given the current reservation availability, kids being back in school (for the most part) and 2 MK tiers still blocked.
