Hi, We are staying at SS for one week in January. My sister has a two year old that eats a ton! Can I add him to the meal plan without having to buy him park tickets? How much is the meal plan?

Thanks.

If you're staying at a DVC resort on points - you may be able to age him to 3 and get a plan without buying tickets.

If your DDP is part of a package, then he'll need park tickets.

I'm not sure that we are "staying on points." We have a reservation that we made with an exchange with our timeshare? Does that make it so that we are staying on points?

maybe someone on the DVC board can answer this?

When you trade into DVC you can add the meal plan without it including park tickets. So yes you could add a 2 year old without the park tickets.

You do have to add the dining plan before you check in (it cannot be added at check in), but you do not have to pay for it until you check in. Your II reservation has the toll free number to call DVC. You can actually make all of your dining reservations via this number as well. The $95 fee all exchangers have to pay to DVC is for the use of this, so take advantage of it. You can also use magical express.
