I have a problem, don't really know what to do. I made my ADR's months ago for a trip that is in two weeks. A friend of mine's 2 kids (1 is adult, and 1 teen) are going to be in WDW the same time as we are and I would really like to include them in a few of our ADR's, but at this late date, I'm afraid I might not get be able to. Do you think I could get away with just showing up with them? Has anyone ever done this, I normally would never do it, but this is a really really good friend, and she would be crushed if I didn't include her kids. One of the reservations is already for 10 people, what would happen if I just showed up with 12???? HELP! How do I handle this? My friend knows nothing about WDW and ADR's so she would never understand that I made these reservations MONTHS ago!

Adding 2 more people would most likely mean a larger table, so chances are you would not be accomodated at a busy place. Tables for 6 or more are few and far between. Your best bet is to try and get them ADRs for 2 at around the same time you are dinning and ask that the ADRs be linked or have a notation that the 2 parties would like to be near each other if possible.

It doesn't hurt to call and ask. They can check to see if they can add the 2 without affecting your original ADR.

But I agree with PP - what will probably work best is to ask for an ADR for 2 at the same time as your other ones (or as close as they can get). Then all show up together and ask to be seated together if possible. The individual restaurants have more flexibility than the call-in reservation system.

We had an ADR for 6 at Ohana at 7:15p- and found out a few weeks before our trip that friends would be there at the same time. We wanted to have dinner together. They finally got an ADR for 3 at 7:40p - we all arrived together at 7pm and explained that we all wanted to sit together. They were very accomodating.

It depends on the restaurant, but they'll do the best they can!

Going from ten to twelve is going to be very difficult. Disney does the reservations based on table size, not party size. So, based on the configuration of the restaurant and how many table of each party size they have, they could possibly have to come up with an extra table for two to add to what they already have set up for you.

So, say for your party of 10, you have a table for six and a table for four already "reserved". You show up with 2 more, a table for two has to be pulled over (if there is one available) and somehow still fit into the space allocated for your two tables.

You have some choices - call and see if there are any you can easily change, show up with 12 but be prepared for a wait until they can accommodate you, have the two extras have their own reservation for around the same time (and getting reservations for just two is difficult).
