Great news! We just changed from driving to flying thanks to $49 airfare and now need another two nights somewhere because the only low price flights home were early monday. I currently have the BC concierge from sat-sat.
I need to add that last Saturday and Sunday night at a resort that sleeps 5.

I wondered if those who've stayed at POR could give me an opinion about the room size and explain the trundle bed set-up?
I'm guessing it's not as roomy as the daybeds at the deluxe resorts but is it very crowded?

Prices were $198 at POR for two nights & $278 for CR in standard room.
We could also move out of concierge on saturday and downstairs at BC then over to POR on sunday for a total of about the same price as CR, give or take.

AKL's bunk bed rooms for 5 are sold out. Our old favorite, the Poly, is still available but same $335 as staying at BC standard room those 2 extra nights.

True to form - with Disney Math it costs money to save money but gosh it's fun!

ONLY 9 MORE DAYS TO GO so I've got to decide something soon! :hourglass
We're taking 2 adults, DD16, DD'sBF17 and my 4 yr old princess. I'd really appreciate any input from those who are familiar with POR rooms or have an opinion on other options.

CR rooms are so much bigger and you're close to MK-- just a 10 minute walk. That would be my pick. I think after staying at BC, you would be disappointed moving to a mod and having to rely on the bus for all your transportation.

POR's trundle bed is under the bed closest to the door. It's a matress on wheels basically. I slept on it myself a couple of nights and so did my Mom and we both found it to be quite comfy. We both have arthritis so not all beds are suitable for us.

Thanks all, I feel better about staying at POR now that I've had some input about the trundles.

This is an odd question but exactly how close is the trundle to the bed above? DD's BF would be sleeping on the trundle. Being a semi-conservative mom I lean toward putting him as far away as possible but it's not as though they'd be in the room alone anyway. Do you think it's too close for teens?

DH has put the decision in my hands but he's not much on the bus so I suspect he's hoping for CR even though it costs a bit more.
We haven't stayed at CR since the remodel but I've heard it's nice and fresh now.
Then again, POR would be great for that last day shopping at DTD!

The plane takes off a week from tomorrow...Maybe if I just stall long enough one or the other won't be available and the decision will be made for me...

The trundle is underneath the bed closest to the door so once you roll it out, it's on the floor next to that bed. There is quite a distance between the bed and the floor though and the trundle is basically on the floor. So the most contact someone on the bed could have with someone on the trundle (or vice versa) would be hand holding ;)
It is kind of a short bed though so if he's tall, that could be a problem. My mom and I (5'7" and 5'5" 1/2) both slept on the trundle and thought it was nice. We are both side sleepers though, even at 5'5" 1/2 I couldn't have stretched out on the trundle without my feet reaching past the end.
