Adderall?

My son has been on Ritalin SR for close to 13 years. For him, it has been the perfect medication. He is also in martial arts (a second degree blackbelt) and it has helped him learn to focus, although he does much better on meds than off meds. He is 18yo now, and took a year off meds, but when he started college this year, he asked to resume meds. If you are seeing negative side effects, discuss a change in meds with your doctor.

It helps many, but it has KILLED many too. Just giving you another side to the story. Theres always another side.

wow i have not been back here in a while, but i too have noticed a difference in the attitude and mood of my daughter, her adderall dose has increased, she basically gets mad, clinches up her fists, stomps around and i do not remember having this behavior before.

My ds 5 was on adderall xr and would not sleep till 1:00 in the mourning. Now on Facalin just started a 5mg no change then jumped to 15 mg very emotional then to 10 just recently seems to be doing okay. Every day is different and it seems like I never know if the meds are working or if he is having good/bad days. Very frustrating
