I had already made half of my adrs before I added the dining plan. When I did the other half when I called I told them that I was on the dining plan. Does it matter if you tell them or not?

No, doesn't matter to them if you're on the dining plan or not. However, if you're making an ADR that requires an upfront deposit or credit card number, such as Hoop-Dee-Doo, you do need to let them know so they can apply the credits instead of charging your credit card.

When I called to make my priority seating reservations, both times they asked if we were on the dining plan (which we are). They obviously note it for some reason....anyone have any idea why? :confused3

We have our reservations made but have not yet added the dining plan as we were undecided for a while. The CM's who have taken our reservations suggested that if we decided to add the plan we call in and review all of our reservations and have the dining plan noted. They said it was not mandatory and if we didn't just to be sure that we told everyone at the restaurant that we were on the plan, but they said that adding the notation to our reservations would make life a little easier for everyone. Evidently if you give your phone number they can access all of your reservations at once, so you don't need to go through them individually by confirmation number.
