added fees when hertz booked on-line?

Hi friends, just booked a decent rate with Hertz and while the RATE is guaranteed, and they have estimated taxes and fees, they reserve the right to add or change the taxes, fees and/or surcharges. Anyone have experience renting from them?

Also, I used a code from rentalcarmomma.com I hope that they will not ask to see my coupon or something. Anyone??

Sure, lots of people - DISers and nonDISers alike - have rented from Hertz.

That disclaimer doesn't apply just when renting online. It's standard in any car rental reservation. Example: back in, I think, October 2007 there was a mandatory fee added on to car rentals by the airport authority. Even renters with existing reservations found their total had changed.

As for any codes, if the site doesn't indicate you need a coupoon then you're probably okay. You might want to Google it.

If it requires a coupon you will need to show it. If it is a code I would bring a print out showing the information in case the return agent isn't familiar with it.
