We decided to add one more night to our F&W trip! We've decided to go to AK that day but don't know what to to for dinner that night.

My first thought was to head to DTD and eat and Fulton's or Portabello's and then hang out there and shop for awhile. But now I am wondering if we should go someplace out of the box I have never been! Maybe to a resort?

We are two young 30s with no kids... we would love to have a nice sit down meal and then some drinks... any thoughts for something different?

Thanks!

Ally

Going to DTD to shop and eat is a nice idea...WPCafe (across from the movies) is a great place.

Or you could go signature at Cali Grill, Citricos or Flying Fish...those places are excellent too

Why not head over to Kidani and have dinner at Sanaa? Between Victoria Falls and everything else that goes on at Jambo, you could have dinner at Kidani and hop a bus over and watch the savannahs, have a few drinks, sit in front of the fire pit, walk around. AKL/Kidani can be a night's worth of entertainment on its own.

If you are interested in signatures, I'd go with dinner at Flying Fish, bluezoo or Shula's and then head over to Jellyrolls for some drinking and singing. WPC, as Nicki suggested, is a good choice for a nice decent meal at DTD.

i would venture over to the dolphin and eat at shula's.... then wander over and play some mini golf!!

If your last day happens to be a Wednesday, sign up for the Wine Tasting at Jiko at 3pm. It's $25/person, and is actually not a bad deal.

Then, if you are able to make it, do the Culinary Tour of Africa at 4pm which starts from the Boma reception desk.

Then, dinner at either Sanaa at AKV or Jiko at AKL. Jiko will be more expensive, but will also be a more romantic atmosphere, in my opinion. Sanaa, however, is one of my top 5 WDW restaurants, and allows you to watch the animals on the Savannah while you eat. So, I'd do an earlier dinner at Sanaa to take advantage of the daylight, or a later one at Jiko, when it has a more elegant feel.

Before or after dinner, depending on your choice, head back to the Victoria Falls lounge for drinks. After dark at AKL you can do the nightvision goggle viewing thing, if that's of any interest, or just sit out on the porches overlooking the Arusha Savannah.

If it is not Wednesday, then skip the wine tasting.

Another vote for Jiko. We ate there (family of four) last December and thought the food was delicious, the service great and the atmosphere unique.

Also liked our meal at Flying Fish.

Since you will be in AK that day, do have a look at the Yak & Yeti TS menu if you haven't been there before; DH loves it!

For the evening, you could take a bus from AK to one of the monorail resorts. Visiting the various lounges at each monorail resort is also a fun Disney activity. Check what time Wishes will be at the MK. Take yourselves (and another adult beverage) down to the Poly beach and you get a decent view of the fireworks.
