Added a BWV SV day on short notice...

Just added a Friday night to our May trip in a BWV Standard View 1B. Fifty points....ouch! Oh, well...we won't be back for more than a year, so it's worth it.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that even the vaunted Standard View rooms can be booked on short notice--less than 60 days in this case.

It probably helped that AP rates were released yesterday. My guess is that someone had the room booked on points waiting for the AP rates to be released, and then cancelled the room at BWV after getting a low cash rate elsewhere. We'd have done the same, but I wasn't looking forward to the prospect of being without a room for the kiddies' nap one afternoon.

Can't wait to be Home again!!!

My friend who owns OKW just added a night in a 1 bedroom at BWV for March 27th just this week. She wanted a 1 bedroom at OKW, but it wasn't available. I am beginning to wonder if the lower point cost at OKW is starting to make it a bit too popular!

Now there is another benefit of the higher weekend point costs: Higher Weekend Availability! Yeah, 50 points hurts, but at least it's still available for reservations And it's better than having to shell out 56 points for the pfd view (plus you can stay in the same room).
