Currently, I've got purchased the 3-day tickets (non PH). I wanted to upgrade to 7-day tickets, non-expiring, so as to use them on a future trip. Like I said in an earlier post, Disney told me I had to wait and do this when I get to the parks. No problem, but I remember saying that one day of the ticket had to be used before you can upgrade them, like I couldn't upgrade them until I had used one day off of them. Is this right?
My dilemna is that we are now thinking about making them PHs as well. If I can't upgrade that until after one day is used, then I won't be able to PH that first day. Right now, that day is planned for MK, so it's no problem - we don't ever PH on that day anyway. But if EMH hours change, we may want to do MGM that day, in which case we would want to PH.
Is this right? Does one day have to be used first before any upgrades can be made? Can I make this upgrade at the resort when I check in or does it have to be done at the parks?
We've got the FL resident Stay, Play, and Dine package if that makes a difference.
