Do add on's need to be from ones home resort or can I buy say 20 Pts at another resort ?

You can buy as few as 25 points at any DVC resort - not just your current home resort.

just keep in mind that if you add-on at a different resort, only pts from that add-on contract can be used to book that new resort at 11 months out.

you can't mix pts from different resorts until you get to 7 months out.

I know, Should my resale go through properly, I will need another about 20 points and would like to get either AKV or VWL.
