Add ons

Does anyone know the current price for an SSR add on. My husband and I own at SSR and my parents are thinking that they would like their own points so that they are not always using ours, but they are thinking that they would prefer to add on to ours rather than have a whole contract by themselves. Also, they don't really want to buy the 150 minimum for a new contract. Has anyone done this? Suggestions and opinions are always welcome. Thanks!

I spoke with my guide last night and the SSR price is 91 a point.

An additional thought...

We have a February use year and I understand that with an add on, you are assigned the same use year for the new points. If we were to buy sometime before 1/31/07, does that mean that we can get 2006 and 2007 points? It seems that they are flexible with the banking guidelines as they are with new contracts.


If that is the case then I will have to get mom to do it before February so we don't lose out on 2006 points. Thanks!!

yes the price is 91 dollars a point.
if you add on 130 points you get 2 annual passes, the annual passes is going on until the end of the month.
the 91 dollars a point is with the 10 dollar credit.
oct 1 is the new fiscal year so watch out for new deals at that time it could be worse or better. last year 2 weeks into the fiscal year the points dropped to 83.30 for friends and family.
so your question now is do i add on now or wait until the fiscal year??????

I've been considering an add on too-even though I only closed in May! Can you only add-on certain amounts? For example, I seem to be about 35-40 points short-can I add on that many or do I have to add on 25 or 50?

The minimum to add on is 25 ( or 50 if you want financing).
But you can add any amount over that- 27,35,42 etc.
You don't have to go in increments of 25.

yes last year i bought in on oct 14 right after the good deal came out and i got 2005 points i have a feb use year.
