We are closing on our first contract with BCV, and plan to waitlist for add'l BWV soon afterwards. 70 points or so, Aug. UY.

We haven't taken our first trip "home" to the BCVs yet (210 Points, April Use Year), but I am already scheming on how to get DH to add-on.

And at this point, I can make a case for an addition at every single DVC resort. VWL - for Christmas. OKW for low points and the room to spread out. BWV - just like the area so much. HHI - it's a beach resort - nuff said! VB - again, a beach resort, and we love the beach! BCV - because we already own there and that makes using points simplier!

I'm gona just try and squeeze in visits to all the DVC resorts in the shortest amount of time that I can, so that I can put my plan into action ASAP. An add-on is definetly in our future, if I have my way. I got DH to buy into DVC. I can do it again

you need 60 points to get a studio in the off-season.



of course if DVC changed the Oct/Nov to be like regular season - like the WDW resorts are - I will probably have to get 90 points....

Also waiting and waiting! 55 points at VWL, March use year. It seems as though VWL is the hardest one at which to obtain add on points (at least through Disney). We added on 50 BWV points earlier this year and those came through in a matter of days.

ALTHOUGH, I have to add we did obtain 145 VWL points earlier this year, right before the waitlist policy was implemented. We were lucky in that I talked to our guide just as those points became available.

I've been waiting months for 56 points for BCV with a June UY. With each passing day, it gets more discouraging.

tn carole, do you have any idea or have read whether the 100 point resale on TTS was bought back by Disney, I called TTS, and they said the first deal went south because of financing, but they had a back up offer and were just waiting to hear back from DVC. I hate to keep calling to see if it was bought back or not!!! If it was, let's just hope it wasn't a Dis'r that lost out!!

Hi ClarabelleCow! We've been watching that 100pt VWL contract too. I don't have any idea whether it's been ROFR'd or not.

Like you, if it IS bought back, I hope it isn't a DISer that loses out.

Maybe we'll get our add-ons soon...

CA approved points for sale....

The state of California has some pretty specific laws pertaining to timeshare sales, so Disney has only applied for certain units to be eligible for sale in CA. ( I believe there are a few other states in the same situation as well. ) So in order to buy directly from Disney, they can only sell points associated with those specific units, regardless of their entire inventory.

However, a CA resident can buy any resales without dealing with this issue (but 50-100 VWL point contracts are far and few even on resales) or can buy if one is physically onsite at Disney.

I will be trying to add 25 points per year beginning in January - paying cash by using my tax refund money. I want to add 25 points per year until I have enough to stay 2 weeks in a 1 bedroom during late January / early February - value season.

I love VWL, but will take whatever is available onsite. I already own 150 VB points.

We want to add either 50 points at BWV (currently have 200) or 50 points at BCV (currently have 150) with a June use year. We just called our guide the other day to make this request. I don't have much hope but I'm wishing for the best.

Just got 150 pts Dec. at BCV in July. I'm thinking of adding on to VWL (I already have 100VWL and 45 BCV Feb use year) but the last time I called for my add on , Byron got it in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to hold off calling until after my trip, and then add on
