We currently own 320 pts at BCV. We are looking at adding on 100 at Grand Floridian. ? Is, if it takes 153 pts to book at VGF for a week but we only have 100 pts can we still book at the 11 month window for the full week. Would they "borrow" our VGF from the next year or use our BCV pts for the rest? Trying to understand the "add-on" benefit.

You would have to borrower VGF points for reservations at the 11 month mark. You couldn't use the BCV points until the 7 month mark.

100pts would give you almost every 2 out of 3 years. You'd still be 6 points short. If you could probably get a way with 80.

We decided to purchase 125 pts today. Now we won't have to borrow any if we book a studio (which we usually do) during the 125 Pt weeks. Hopefully we can book our Nov. '13 trip in a few days.

Call MS and book. I was able to book rooms before my points were loaded. Just tell them you purchased the points but they are not in the account yet.

Do you know what the minimum points contract you can purchase?

25 points is the minimum with 50 if you required financing...must be in your same use year.
