Add-on points

HI!

Anyone else on a wait list for add-on points?

Talked to my Guide today, there are no add-on points available for BWV, OKW, WVL, or BCV in the August use year!

We were put on a wait list.

Asked about buying into the new SSV, She said they will probably go on sale in about 6 weeks. (But we would have to be there to buy) Or we will have to wait until they gets the OK from our state to buy thru the mail. And she doesn't know when that will be! Oh Well!
Maybe when we are there in Oct. we will be able to get a tour of the new place!
Unless the waitlist comes through!

I think there are some folks here that are waiting for add-ons.
That is a piece of interesting news that SSR is expected to start selling in six weeks.

That means we should be able to tour SSR at the end of August!

I'm not currently on a waiting list for add-on points, but the waiting list has worked twice for me in the past. Both times for BWV (Dec. use year).

if they have tours when your down there in the end of August, will you be going on the tour??

My DH is wondering if we shouldn't just wait for SSR.

If you go will you please give us a report on SSR?

I think ALL of us on this board will be interested in the SSR tours!!

I gotta stop adding on points after this!!!

It's just the more points you have the MORE points you WANT!!!

Question---

Am I correct in assuming that if you have an August use year at BCV and you want to add on points, you won't be able too because they are sold out? You can't add on points from a different month I suspect?


Looking to add about 100 points. Maybe I should just buy a resale. Any advice?

When I talked to my guide she said there were 65 pts left to sell in the August use year for BCV. I am looking for 100 pts also.

These points are going for $84.00/pt.

So I then asked for WVL........... She burst out laughing!!!!
I guess these are next to impossible to get.

If your original pts are in a August use year, you have to stay with an Aug. use year unless you buy 150 pts. But then you would have two different member numbers!!!
I told her I could buy the points I needed on the resale board, for alot cheaper!
She said if I did that to make SURE it was an August use year!!
( or things can get complicated with the ressies) You know the 11th or 7th month windows.

Anyway she asked me to give her a few weeks and she would see what she could do. I said I'd wait because I want my add-on points in two 50pt blocks instead of 100pts all together. ( thinking ahead to when we have to split the points with our two kids!) But I WOULD buy them on resale if I could find two 50pt blocks in the Aug. use year!!! $72.00 verses $84.00/pt. is great!

The best thing you could do is talk to your Guide! Then you will have all the facts to make the decision for yourself.
