Add on incentive email

I received the same email. I didn't read the fine print and didn't realize the AP's for the 130 points. Didn't think we could do an add on right now. Then DH sees the email and starts asking questions!! He wants to do it!! I love that man!! Quick questions, if we do the 50 pt. add on, and we have points at SSR already with a June use year, will we get the same use year? Will we get '05 points too, and do we have to pay the dues on those '05 points if we can get them?

You can get the june use year if its available, most likely you will be able to get june use year. When we added ssr to our other dvc resorts we asked if we can get the same use year and our guide said as long as the same use year was available and we ended up with the same use year.


I am not sure if you will get 05 points, sometimes you do and sometimes dvc offers the points as an extra incentive.

I cant remember if dvc waived the dues or just prorated the dues from the time we owned them to the new use year. I think dvc prorated the dues, but if dvc offers a free vacation as a special incentive then you dont pay the dues.
