If I buy an add-on package - would I really be adding on to my original contract or am I buying a separate contract.?
For instance - if I buy 50pts BWV resale points - and later on add on 50 points through Disney...are they 2 separate contracts-or just 1?

next:
If they are the same contract (combined together), then what is considered your home resort, and how do they determine where you can book 7 months out-compared to 11 months out.?

Thank you. ;)

If you purchase the add-on from Disney it will be the same UY as your master contract and will be set up as an "add on" contract to that master with the same base contract number and an ".002" extension. This can also be accomplished when purchasing the second contract on the resale market, provided you purchase the same UY and it is titled exactly the same way as your existing master contract.

They are separate contracts so either can be sold separately. They function like one contract when making a reservation or for banking purposes where the points are pooled when calculating banking percentages. The issue is when you can pool the points for making a reservation. If both contracts are for the same resort, you can combine the points to make a reservation at that resort 11 months from your check out date. If the contracts are at different resorts, you can combine the points to make a reservation at any resort 7 months from check out.

As stated above, they are separate but related contracts (a master and an add-on). If they are at different resorts, then you have two home resorts. You can book at each of your home resorts 11 months out, using the points you own at that resort. So if you own 100 points at SSR and 50 points at BWV, you can book at SSR at 11 months with your 100 SSR points and can book at BWV at 11 months out with your 50 BWV points. At 7 months out, you can combine your SSR and BWV points and book at any resort.
