Add on Deposit

When we requested an add on for BWV which isn't available, our guide took our credit card number and I was under the impression that 10% of the sale would be charged. It's over a week, and the charge hasn't shown up. Do they wait until the points are available, or is it just taking longer to show up due to the holidays?

Hi Bobbi, they charge you only when the points come in. Good luck getting your points. Which are you waiting for?

You are charged as soon as the points are available, and they charge $500 regardless of the number points requested. That's what happened to us when we wanted 150 BWV points. I actually found out by calling MS the morning they had added them to my account to make ressies. The MS CM told me I had 150 BWV points, I was flabbergasted! It only took one week for me to get my points, and my CC was charged before my guide even contacted me.

Thanks for the replies. We're waiting for 50 BWV points, March use year.

We're also waiting on ROFR for 50 March use year at VWL.

The BWV are a gift from my DSis, (we want to keep her abreast of process, so she can be aware to look for the charge) who appreciates being invited and figures that this way, she can expect to be invited to other family gatherings. I told her it wasn't necessary, when it comes to sisters, she is absolutely the best I can imagine. The VWL points are a gift from DH and me to ourselves, it's all we really wanted for Christmas, and found the resale on Christmas eve or the night before, until that point, we were at a loss of what to buy each other.
