We just joined DVC, and I called quality assurance to make my final payment this afternoon. I had planned on just banking 100% of this years points, but then the Disney spirit got into me and I thought it would be fun to go for a 4-day weekend for my b-day in January.

I called MS, figuring that I could get on the waitlist, but what do you know??? I just booked a studio at BCV for January 19-22!!!

I just went online and got cheap flights too!!! Now the question is, do I tell DH now, or just put the DVC confirmation in his Christmas Stocking?? Hmmmm!!!

I love DVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! Our first trip as new SSR owners is Jan. 24th - 28th. We're staying in a 1-br with DS (12) and DD (10 months in Jan.)

This is a special trip for DS--we've told each of our kids that for their 12th birthday we'd take them on a trip with us where ever they wanted, without siblings. (Unfortunately for DS, his baby sister will still be too small to leave, and he didn't want to wait for *his* trip!)

When we asked him his where he wanted to go, he got that "are you kidding?" look on his face...like "IS there ANYWHERE besides WDW??"
