Add DD 17 DDDP & MYWPHtix

Hi, I have a question regarding adding my DD17, who will be joining us from college for 3 out of our 8 nights. I'm trying to save money, but also don't want to do anything not allowed. We are a party of 5 (before adding DD17) myself, DH and DD6 in one room, my mother and MIL in another room. Staying 4 nights Poly and 4 nights AKL in October. We are doing deluxe dining as we like the TS restaurants and are trying HDDR for the first time. Beacuse we're doing DDDP and splitting our stay, we had to buy 2 sets of park tix. The 5 of us have 8 day park hoppers attached to our Poly KTTWC and we each also had to buy a single park one day pass to get the DDDP on the AKL part of our stay.

The 5 of us won't be using our one day passes so my first question is, can DD17 use one adult pass each day of her visit, or do we have to buy her her own tix?
My second is regarding using our meals on the DDDP for her. I know I'll be "fooded out" by the end of our trip and she is coming at the end of the trip for 3 nights at AKL so can she share my food (or anyone else's in our party for that matter)? For example, can she have my mother's appetizer, my entree, and my DHs dessert? Will the waiter let us share or is that a no-no?

We weren't sure if she was going to be able to join us as this is her first year at college, but she can and now between her airfare, taxi to the airport, etc. she is adding on quite a bit to the trip, but it is important for her to go as she is having a hard time being away from home and, it turns out, the second weekend of our trip (when she'll be joining us) is Family Weekend at school so we can't just leave her there without family while we're at DW (unforseen bad timing) Any cost saving suggestions are appreciated- we have already paid for the trip as is without adding her as we are now under 45 days out...

Just a suggestion, paragraphs would make this way easier to read and answer.

I'm pretty sure that she can use the one day passes, just keep in mind she cannot park-hop. She will just use 1 one-day pass on each of her days.

I am not sure if you are allowed to share food on the DDP. I know you cannot at Universal, but it isn't clearly spelled out on the Disney DDP brochures. They simply say that everyone in the room must be on the same package.

Thanks for your reply-you're right about the paragraphs. I will edit my post! Wondering if ticket swipes will be okay because my park hopper will have my name on it and her one day will also have my name on it. Will this cause a problem with the card reader?

The one day passes are encoded on the room keys, they do not give you separate ticket media. Your DDP is also encoded on your room key. If you have your own separate tickets, then she can use your one days. If not, you may need to talk to guest services and see if they will transfer the one days off the keys and onto a separate ticket.

Our 8 day PH will be attached to our Poly KTTWC and our 1 day 1 park will be attached to our AKL KTTWC so she should be able to use the AKL cards to get into the parks? Right now, as I understand it, we'll be using our Poly KTTW card the whole trip to enter the parks and use or AKL KTTW card only for hotel key and second half of trip dining so DD17 should be able to enter one park per day on the adult AKL KTTW cards....?

Yes, you are OK then with the AKL keys.
