Add concierge or stay another night?

You guys were helpful on my last thread and I'm definitely staying at least 5 nights in December.

We decided against concierge originally as while a nice addition, it wasn't worth the cost for 2 people. Nontheless, I'd like to add a surprise to the trip, making it 7 days or keeping at 6 days with concierge!

I'm sure this has been debated by others. What would you guys go with?!

Is this the only WDW trip for awhile? If so I say add the other day. It also depends on your park style. Are you park all day people or do you enjoy resort time too? If you have a good bit of downtime at the resort go with CL but if you will be gone a majority of the day just add another day since you won't be around to enjoy the offerings anyways

Six with concierge! With a difference of only one day, I'd cut the trip shorter.

I'm probably going to be one of the only - if not THE only - who says this, but I would add CL. I love having that little bit of something extra. The CL at the POLY has a beautiful lounge and I find it so nice to grab something in the morning and then be on my way. Plus having a nice cocktail at night before heading out... Either way though, you're lucky to stay at the Poly!

It would depend on the situation. If it's a once a year or less often trip, then I would stay the extra night if I had to choose between the two. If you go more frequently, then I would go with CL.

I'd always choose an extra day!

I just went through this for my own vacation. I'm already doing 4 nights BC Concierge. I had to choose between another 2 nights BC Club level or 3 nights CSR with deluxe dining for about the same price. I'm doing CSR w/deluxe dining.

I have stayed CL the last 4 years and this past trip, june, beach club was disappointing on club. Won't be doing CL again anytime soon....just don't think it is worth it anymore. I vote for extra day. Plan on doing just that in June 2013!

We were at YC Club level in June. We loved it! Why were you disappointed with the BC Concierge vs. other resorts?

The last three years we stayed at YC CL and loved it!!! This summer was BC CL and I found the food disappointing from prior years (they share the same menu as YC so my guess is food cutbacks were at YC as well this year). My biggest irritant with BC CL is room set up - so few rooms are CL GV (most are LV or standard) and of these GV, one is handicapped and several connect. Lounge was tight....Just did not care for BC CL at all. Completely different vibe than YC. I prefer YC.
