Add celebrations on MDE

Sorry, if this has been mentioned I didn't see the thread
Did anyone else notice that there's now an option to add celebration to a reservation on MDE? It shows up if you go in and select Change Reservation
Not sure if there's an option to add during booking.
Here's the screen shots

And if you click on the Add link

Once you click on one of the above, it brings up a screen with all members on the reservation and you can select exactly who is celebrating. Best I can tell, there's only a way to add a single celebration. But you can select multiple guests

I wonder what the point is. I've always had something noted on our reservations, but it's never been recognized when we check in. Maybe they want to make more of an effort??

Well, it says at the top, so a button can be ready.
But also, with the new trend to move guests to do more online I think it's there so it reduces phone calls.
Still strange that from what I can find poking around, it's only with Change Reservation that you can add it. I don't see a way to add it to a new reservation while you are booking, or during online check in

Doh yes I missed the button wording. I'll be surprised if they keep up with this.

Quick update, since they initially rolled this out they've added another blurb to the Change Reservation screen.
It specifically says

However, if your only change is the addition of celebrations to your reservation, you will not go through checkout; once you see the celebration displaying on this page, it has been saved and no further action is needed.

Thanks for the info. I had visions of Disney IT messing up reservations. Hopefully they will add it when you book a new reservation online.
