Hi there -

(New member to the board, so bear with me).

I know everyone is focused/obssed with what's going on today, but I have a general ticketing question. We're going to be coming down for a week in October with 3 little ones (3, 4, & 7), and was wondering about how long of a park-hopper I should get. I see the advanced purchase price for all 5 of us would be $705 for a 4-day and $755 for a 5-day. My primary question is if I buy a 4-day PH, can I add a day to it later, and if so, how much would it be?

Right now, I see that DL.com has about the best online prices. (We're not parking so the AAA prices are identical to DL.com).

Is 4-days enough to leisurely see all of DLR (we've never been to DCA)? I guess $50 is chump-change as far as the 4/5-day difference is concerned.

Also, I've read ad-nauseum the threads on character dining, and just need to have someone confirm that the Princess Breakfast is enjoyable IF you get PS at the earliest time possible (30-minutes before opening on a non-EE day). How's Goofy's Kitchen for Dinner?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom y'all have for us!

Mark

I'm not sure about adding a day. I know its real easy to do at WDW, but not sure about DL.

Check out mousesavers.com for other ticket sites. That website maintains a list of all Disney discounts and I believe there is another site that offers better prices than Disney.

As for 4 days, yes that would be enough time to see everything, especially in October which is generally a slow time.

We just did Goofy's Kitchen for dinner this past weekend. We've done it numerous times for breakfast/brunch. I liked the variety of food better at breakfast, but that doesn't mean that the food was bad at dinner. Just that I think I prefer the breakfast. However, the place was less crowded at dinner and we were there on a Saturday, so I was really surprised. Any time we've gone, we've always seen at least 6 characters and never felt rushed. I've done a few of the other character meals and Goofy's has turned out to be my favorite.

Hi! We went to Disneyland with 4 little ones (they were 3weeks, 2, 8 and 9) and 4 days was enough to actually see it all You won't have major crowds in October. You might want to consider adding the extra day if it would be the day that would put you there on the night of the Electric Light Parade and Fantasmic though. We have done both 4 and 5 days and I can tell you that we are doing 4 this time so we can do something else too. I don't know if you can add the extra day later or not the way that you are buying the tickets. You should call Disneyland and ask them that to be safe. Also CA is really a nice break from Dsisneyland. we went at peak season (DUMB!) and that park had hardly anyone there. It is very relaxing and your kids will probably love the area where you can rock climb and things like that. Sunday is there busiest day. Good Luck! :cool1:
