Greetings! I am new here- our first ever trip (well, my husband's and two kids' first ever, my 10th but first since 1988) begins December 10. We are sooo excited!

I have made my ADR's, and when I selected "view reservation" there was an option to add a celebration. I selected "First Visit' and entered my DDs' names (they are 5 and 3). My question to you fine folks is, what exactly does this mean for us? Will characters have a special greeting for the kids? or will we be asked to purchase an item to commemerate the event, or does it mean nothing really?

thanking you all for your help!!!!

To be honest it will depend on your server.

For instance when we celebrated our honeymoon it was on all our ressies.

Some servers gave us a celebration cupcake, another a glass of champagne, still another had the table decorated with confetti.

Basically it tells the restaurant and server if you are celebrating a special occasion.
Most of the time it will get recognized in one shape or another, but it doesn't mean it is a guarantee.

So I would list it on your ressies and be happy if you get something. If not, no biggie you are still at WDW!!! :)
