Ok, I know what I am about to say has nothing to do about Adam being gay. So I guess I should say other topic.

I have never paid much attention to the name of a portable hot dog stand that is near where I work. Now this stand, has a HUGE pink fuzzy umbrella shading the worker working the stand. So the other day, as I was stopped at the corner it was on, and looked for the name of the stand, you are not going to believe what it is called,

So I thought to myself, why isn't there a big ole drag queen working this stand?

Was this really a surprise to anyone?

I read a little snippet on, I think, AOL earlier and the part of the article I was most impressed with was when he spoke about how his parents reacted when they realized he was gay, when he was younger. They basically didn't react at all. I think his dad passed a comment like "Well, now that that's confirmed." And his mom asked him if he had a girlfriend, he said no, she asked if he had a boyfriend and he said no, but it would be nice. No huge fights, name calling, crying, disowning of a child, etc. I pray that more parents could and would accept their children for who they are, and not who or what the parents want them to be.

This is the boy who owns 4 dSLR cameras. He much prefers to be taking the photos than posing for them. But here is one from SSR last summer.

I think this was at Coral Reef.

Now when you go to Kroger you will recognize him!

Kind of interesting, he saw one of the teachers from DS's school in there the other day. He called me and said "Guess who I just saw?" Now how the hell would I guess THAT? There is a list as long as my arm of people he MIGHT have seen in there! I was on the LifeWalk committee for FIVE YEARS! I know dozens and dozens of people who shop there.

So then he tells me it is this teacher. Huh. Either my gaydar is broken, he is SUPER closeted, or he just happened to be in that store and isn't gay at all.

I didn't even realize that he wasn't out till now. I'm not much of an Idol fan, but DH is and is also a huge Adam fan. At some point during the season he mentioned that Adam was gay, so I thought it was common knowledge. But hey, I knew a lot of people who were shocked when Ellen came out. And there are a lot who will be shocked if Tom Cruise ever finally does.
